2023 Homer's Classic Fun Run
Location
Join us Sunday, August 6th to celebrate Silverton's Homer Davenport Days with a run through Marion County's only covered bridge and scenic countryside surrounding Silverton. All races start and end at the Silverton High School, 1456 Pine St. Watermelon slices and other goodies are served at the finish.
Afterwards, enjoy the Homer Davenport Community Festival in Coolidge-McClaine Park.
Awards
8K Award Ribbons will be presented to the top 3 runners in each age group category.
Ribbons will go to the top 10 runners in the 2 mile run.
The overall male and female 8K winners will receive trophies.
All runners are eligible for great local prizes — drawing winners will be posted after the run.

Benefiting Youth Athletes
The race is organized by the Silverton Runners' Club. Proceeds from the race to support the Silverton and Mt. Angel school track and cross country programs, scholarships for youth runners to attend running camps, and other local fitness activities.
